Our Queens

At Black Hills Maine Coons, our queens are the heart of our program. Each one is carefully selected for her temperament, structure, and overall health, ensuring she contributes to raising exceptional Maine Coon kittens.

We believe that strong, well cared for queens are the foundation of a successful breeding program. Our queens are raised in our home and treated as part of our family, not just breeding cats. This environment allows them to remain relaxed, social, and well adjusted, which directly impacts the kittens they raise.

Every queen receives individualized attention, proper nutrition, and routine veterinary care to support her long term health and well being. We are intentional about pairing our queens with the right kings to produce kittens with balanced personalities, strong features, and excellent development.

While appearance is important, we place just as much value on temperament and maternal instincts. Our queens are known for their nurturing nature, helping their kittens grow into confident and affectionate companions.
